Flowers and Care

In some arrangements there may be a case that some flowers are in bud; this will prolong the life of the flowers and display.

Some flower and foliage and berries may be harmful or poisonous to humans and animals if eaten.  If eaten it is the responsibility of the client. Advising you not to consume any plant material. If eaten it is your responsibility to seek medical attention

All flowers are subject to availability.  If supply issues occur, I reserve the right to substitute products with the same quality and value without notice.  I will do my very best to get the closest colour possible to what was desired.

Most flowers need to be kept in a cool room, too much heat or near fruit will shorten the life of your flowers.  They do need to be watered.  Any refunds will not be given if this is found to be the case.  Flowers will need to be given back to me if problems do arise.

Flower food is to give extra nutrients and to help maintain the life of the flowers.  You add this to the fresh water when topping up the arrangement.  Care must be taken when opening the sachet as could be harmful, if get in the eyes or swallowed.

Care is to be taken when handling some plant material as may be sharp to touch, such as e.g. Holly and Teasels.

Care must be taken with any flowers as may stain your clothes or fabric, with pollen coming out.  E.g.  Lilies stamens stain very easily.  Lily stamens will be removed before delivery if the flowers are out, but if in bud they will be left to the customer’s responsibility.  No claims can be made for damage to clothes or fabrics if the lilies stain but was delivered in bud.

Care is to be taken with roses, as we will try our best to remove the thorns before delivery, but in some cases they may still have thorns on them.
