This notice (Privacy policy) applies to information held about you and individuals connected to Creations in Flowers.

For the purposes of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) which it’s new legislation will be effective from the 25th May 2018.

The data controller will be Creations in Flowers whose contact details are listed at the end of this document.

We take your privacy seriously and we are committed to protecting your privacy. We follow procedures that are set out in this policy when using your information.

Information Collected

The privacy notice will apply to services that we provide when using your personal information- name, addresses, delivery addresses, delivery date, telephone numbers, email addresses, bank details.

Use of Information

All information given to Creations in Flowers will be given by the client, and only used to fulfill the order.

We will keep your data on file on a UK database held by Creations in Flowers and will only be accessed by our staff.

With permission by the client, the client may give consent to use their photographs on social media and Creations in Flowers website. In the case that this happens only first names, month and the venue will appear. No surnames or specific dates will appear. These pictures will have no expiry date and may show on the website for a while.

How long we’ll keep your information

We’ll keep personal information and data held on you for a period of 1 year from the end of our relationship with you. This enables us to comply with legal and regulatory requirements or use it where we need for legislation purposes, such as dealing with disputes or complaints or concerns that may arise. Once past this date it will be destroyed, deleted promptly. Except for photographs which have consent to be present.

Tracking or Recording what you say or do.

We may keep record and track of conversations with us including phone calls, face to face meetings, letters, emails, live chats, video chats and any other kinds of communication. We may use these recordings to check your instructions to us, assess, analyse and improve our service and mostly fulfill your order to complete satisfaction.

Marketing and Research

We will not give your information or any information connected to you to any other marketing and research companies. The only exception to this, is that if enforcement government agencies ask – Such to which we have a public and legal duty to do so, to assist with detecting and preventing crime.

Rights of Clients

Clients have a number of rights in relation to the information that we hold about them, these rights include: the right to access the information we hold about them and to obtain information about how we processed it. Also to change details- such as addresses, telephone numbers, and to delete their information, which they can do at anytime. We may continue to keep their information if we have another legitimate reason for doing so; the right to request that we rectify their information if it’s inaccurate or incomplete. We may continue to retain their information if we’re entitled or required to retain it by law.

The privacy notice ensures we continue to comply with the privacy law and regulations. There are no changes to our terms and conditions, including what we ask of you. If we make any changes in the future, we’ll let you know.
